On 2 September 2019, NORTIA organised a plenary in the framework of the 2019 conference entitled "What role for the High Representative post 2019", with Ana Zacarias, State Secretary of European Affairs from Portugal, DAvid O´Sullivan (former EU ambassador to the US), Ben Tonra (University College Dubin), and Jost-Henrik Morgenstern (University of Birmingham). The roundtable was chaired by Heidi Maurer.
