Lt. Gen. Wosolsobe, speaking at the Institute for International and European Affairs, Dublin, on 31 October 2014, addressed the complex security challenges facing the EU from the perspective of the EU Military Staff (EUMS). The EU Military Staff provides permanent military expertise for strategic planning of EU-led operations. As part of the European External Action Service, its civilian and military experts contribute to the EU’s comprehensive approach to conflict management. It provides intelligence input into crisis response and supports the development of military capabilities within the European Union. - See podcast of his remarks and more at: http://www.iiea.com/events/new-challenges-for-csdp--a-military-perspective#sthash.FUSGyxCZ.dpuf
