NORTIA Practitioner-Academic Roundtable

Europe Direct The Hague and the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University (Dr. Karolina Pomorska, in the framework of the NORTIA Jean Monnet Network on Research & Teaching in EU Foreign Affairs) have jointly prepared a series of three public lectures this autumn, called the Europe College. On November 13, Europe College’s first lecture will be on Brexit and democracy.

The panel will discuss the state of affairs in the Brexit-deal as well as the impact of Brexit on democracy. We will also look at the future of the EU27, in particular in regard of the EU´s role in international affairs.

The three panelists are Andreas Zenthöfer (European Commission office Den Haag), Heidi Maurer (University of Oxford), and Jon Worth (EU blogger and regular commentator).
