On 2 September 2019, NORTIA organised a UACES 2019 plenary entitled "What role for the High Representative post 2019", with Ana Zacarias, State Secretary of European Affairs from Portugal, DAvid O´Sullivan (former EU ambassador to the US), Ben Tonra (University College Dubin), and Jost-Henrik Morgenstern (University of Birmingham).
